Spintires Highly Compressed is a simulation video game designed by Oovee Games. It was initially released in 2014. The gameplay revolves around off-roading simulation, players choose off-road vehicles and complete objectives. It could be considered as an automobile game that uses off-roads as tracks. The story progresses by driving vehicles through muddy off-road terrains and reluctantly finishes the level by completing objectives.
The plot is set in Russia. The player needs to simulate the vehicle through all different types of off-road terrains. It also has muddy unpaved roads of Russia as a map. The ultimate aim of the game is to use the Soviet vehicles to deliver the package without creating damage to the vehicle or emptying the fuel. The best part of this is the player will only get a map and a compass. The game has both single-player and multiplayer modes. The main thing which differs from other off-road simulation games is the added assets of physics, mud, terrain deformation, etc. The game also has a day-night shift cycle. Because of the challenging terrains, it takes the driver's intellectual reasoning skills to drive through the terrain without depleting the given resources. The game also features a casual mode and a hardcore mode. The hardcore mode is an advanced version of the game. In that mode, the levels become more difficult as the environment becomes riskier to deliver the cargo.
Spintires received mixed reviews. The negatives were mainly focused on the camera system which does not provide an in-vehicle view. But the critics praised the game for the design of each level and added assets. The visualizations are pretty awesome. The outdoors are big and beautiful. When closely examined it is the very first thing that makes the player stuck at a level! The mud has an extremely high quality detailing and feels original. The maps have memorable locations which make the game more addicting. If you are an admirer of simulation games, also if you are a fan of off-road games, then this is one of your best choices.
