Sleeping Dogs is a third person action game which constitutes open-word free roam. The Game was developed by United Front Games and distributed by Square Enix . In the first instance it was released for PlayStation 3 , Xbox 360and Microsoft Windows. It was first released on August 14th 2012 in North America . Following that on 16th August in Australia, August 17th in Europe and 27th September 2012 for Japan and nearby countries .Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition was released on 10th October 2014 in Europe and 14th October in North America for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Set in new era of Hong Kong, the story of the game follows Wei Shen, a Chinese-American undercover cop on deathly mission to evade the Sun On Yee Triad group of organization. The story game play is centered on the character's vast fights, methodological shootings and professional parkour abilities, and the variety of gadgets that can be used for combat and analysis. the Players must complete missions to unlock new contents and discover way through the story. But also they may freely roam the game's open world environment and engage in both legal and criminal activities instead of focusing on the missions.
Following its release in 2012, the game received positive critics for its combat, simple but perfect voices, the whole new experience system and depiction of the city. Violence is outraged in the Game which scandalizes the whole picture to a real life experience. Later on as a resumption new outfits and other features were introduced in the game as a downloadable content.
